When we released CAO Nicaragua,
the industry chuckled. Everyone thought we had already missed the rise in Nicaraguan tobaccos a few years earlier, but they didn’t know that we had something more calculated up our sleeves.
Our goal was not to answer a fad,
we aimed to shine a light on one of the most unique tobacco-growing regions around the globe. It sounds complicated, but with our roots in Nicaragua, we were already well aware of the best of the best tobaccos our peers had yet to discover. We started backward, showcasing the incredibly tasty Nicaraguan Condega, Estelí and Jalapa leaves in the filler blend. We balanced them with an intense Honduran Jamastran for both the binder and wrapper leaf.
Nicaragua is a tribute
to the country we call home. And in it, you will find an expression of Nicaraguan tobaccos no one else can rival.
