Mortal Coil’s adventure began
when we heard about a rarely utilized tobacco aging process called Andullo that Dominican natives had been using for centuries.
The incredibly rare Andullo process
involves curing premium tobacco leaves and tightly coiling them into elongated palm tree pods called “yaguas.” The tobacco rests, allowing the natural flavors usually lost through evaporation to be sealed into the tobacco, deepening the taste profile and adding an earthy sweetness to the smoking experience.
Mortal Coil is the product of this rare process.
When combined with an American Broadleaf wrapper and shade binder, the result is a medium-bodied masterpiece that must be experienced to be believed.
